HealthFitness has a great opportunity for a part-time (up to 10 hpw) Swim Instructor at our client site located in Crosby, MN. In this position, you will be responsible for instructing various levels of American Red Cross Swim Lessons. You will also be responsible for adhering to all Aquatic Center guidelines, formats and Red Cross instruction standards.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Primary:
Teach according to American Red Cross standards.
Maintain a safe environment for all swim students.
Learn names of swimmers and communicate instructions clearly.
Keep certifications current.
Secondary:
Communicate any student concerns with parents and log information.
Keep all necessary records for grading and evaluating each student.
Any duties as assigned by Wellness Coordinator or General Manager.
Find proper substitutes when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education, Experience and Certifications:
American Red Cross Swim Instructor Certification required.
Current CPR certification required.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong attention to detail, organized, and able to record swimmer evaluations.
Ability to multi-task as well as work quickly and accurately.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills.
Ability to assist swimmers physically in the water with diverse childhood ages (minimum of 20 lbs.).
Stamina and ability to instruct several classes consecutively.
Maintain confidentiality.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
